Moving Policy

To minimize disruption to other offices in the building and for the safety of all guests, visitors and patients, it is important that all office moves into and out of the building be scheduled outside of normal business hours or on the weekends. (This does not include small routine deliveries.)

All moves must be scheduled in advance with the Management Office. Prior to your move, the building engineer will place protective pads in the elevator cab and place the elevator on independent for your movers. Only credible moving companies that have provided us with a current Certificate of Insurance in such amounts as required by the Landlord will be permitted to move furniture and equipment in and out of the building.

Once you have selected a mover, please have them contact the Management Office and we will provide them with a Sample certificate outlining the limits and additional insured language required.

Movers will be responsible for protecting the floors and walls of the building. Clean masonite sections will need to be used as runners on all finished floors from the entry into the building to the entry of your suite. Masonite must be at least one-quarter thick and all sections must be taped together to help prevent slipping and a tripping hazard. Only rubber wheeled dollies are permitted.

Any damage to the building or fixtures caused by the move will be repaired by the building and paid for by the tenant/moving company.

Your movers shall be responsible for removing all crates, moving boxes and other moving material from the property the same day of the move, and the building dumpster must not be used to dispose of such items.

Upon completion of the move, Movers shall be responsible for cleaning the hallways and entryways.

Any movers violating these rules and regulations will not be allowed to continue and will be asked to leave the building.
